Paris has inspired artists, writers, and musicians throughout the ages. The legendary City of Light is also a vibrant 21st-century capital, with its world-famous exhibitions, French food culture combining tradition and inovation. Paris boasts beautiful historical monuments, like the Eiffel Tower, Sacré-Coeur basilica, Arc de Triomphe, and Notre-Dame cathedral—the latter soon to regain its past splendor after the terrible fire that partly devastated it in 2019. Paris also boasts avant-garde architecture, like the Pompidou Center, Philharmonie de Paris concert hall, and the Pei glass pyramid in the Louvre Museum courtyard. The busy stores and sidewalk cafés greatly contribute to the charm of the city, make sure to enjoy them!
